The Process

Understanding how and why it's done alleviates future problems

I'm going to be honest with you - I'm not a big fan of the phone. I know, I know—it's 2023! But if we're going to get to know each other and build a solid relationship that will last for years to come, I think it's important that we meet in person. So let's set up a Zoom call and chat it out!

I'll ask you all kinds of questions. What are your goals? Who is your target market? What do you want your brand voice to sound like? (And don't worry—I can help you figure that out.) And what kind of content do you need?

After we've got all the details straightened out, I'll give you a proposal with my fee included. We can sign off on that and get started right away!

So what's next? Research! That's right—lots and lots of research. Because research is key when it comes to creating content that people want to read/watch/hear/share/repost, etc. So if there are any prior brand guides or studies, customer feedback, or market insights available, send them my way!

I'll create a detailed outline for you and we'll collaborate on getting all the details right. Then I'll make an initial draft and deliver it to you by our agreed-upon deadline (if not before).

Then it's your turn—review the first draft and any revisions you'd like made. Once we've got it all figured out together, the final approval is yours.

And then we're done! Until later when I can help, again!

About my fees

I charge a flat project fee. No surprises! You know before the project begins your investment.

Most freelance copywriters charge by the hour. You never know until the final keystroke how much the project costs.

I will not keep you in suspense as to how much your project will cost. I will tell you my fee before we start and I won't charge more than that, even if it takes me longer than anticipated (which is unlikely).
